Ola Jordan's Strictly Return Sparks 'Revenge' Claim on Ex James

Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Ola Jordan returned to the BBC show just months after her separation from her ex-husband James Jordan, a move an insider claims was no accident.

On Friday night (October 9), the 43-year-old ballroom dancer appeared on the BBC sister show It Takes Two alongside fellow guests Sarah Hadland and Dr Ranj. The mum-of-one returned 11 years after her 2015 departure, delighting fans who celebrated her comeback online.

Return After 11 Years

Viewers remember Ola as one of the longest-serving dancers the show has ever seen, having joined the cast in 2006. Her standout moment came in 2009 when she lifted the Glitterball trophy alongside sports reporter Chris Hollins.

But the Polish dancer has had a difficult year away from the dancefloor following her split from fellow pro dancer James Jordan after 22 years. The couple shared the news in August, with Ola admitting she was left "heartbroken" in a shared statement on Instagram.

Insider Claims Revenge Motive

She revealed the pair were "taking some time apart as we work through very difficult personal challenges", but added that their "shared priority" remained co-parenting their daughter, Ella.

Now, an insider has revealed that the decision to bring the brunette beauty back on the show was no accident. The insider told The Sun: "Ola's really excited to be going back to Strictly. It's the first time she's been asked since leaving the show in 2015 - just months after splitting up from her husband, James.

"Obviously, he has always been very vocal about the show. He loves it, but doesn't hold back from sharing his opinions and has said himself he thinks he was asked to leave because he'd become too outspoken.

"It's funny that as soon as James and Ola broke up, the call came in from the BBC asking her back. It makes you think whether it's the Strictly producers getting a bit of revenge on James by inviting his wife back and not him.

"Either way, James is really happy for Ola and knows she'll fly."

History of Outspoken Criticism

Express.co.uk has reached out to the BBC for a comment. Ola dramatically left the BBC show back in 2015, just one day after claiming the judges had deliberately fixed the results to ensure some contestants were kept in the competition, which producers vehemently denied at the time.

Her ex-husband left the show just 12 months prior, claiming he had been pushed out because he was too outspoken. Since his departure, he has continued to speak candidly about the show with weekly reviews and columns ever since.
