First Joint Interview in 25 Years

The major new film following Liam and Noel Gallagher as they reunited Oasis in 2025 will be released in cinemas worldwide later this year. The Oasis Live '25 comeback was documented by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight for the as-yet-untitled film and includes the first joint interview with Liam and Noel in 25 years.

In May, studio bosses from Disney, Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision said that the 'highly anticipated documentary following the legendary British band, Oasis' will be released in September. Presented by Disney+, the film will open in select IMAX and cinemas worldwide for a limited theatrical engagement from September 11. Following the cinema release, it will become available to stream exclusively on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. later in the year.

2027 Tour Rumours Swirl

Aside from the documentary, Oasis fans are desperate for news regarding the next chapter. The Manchester Evening News understands that the band are planning a spectacular 12-night residency at the Etihad Stadium, home of Manchester City, in the summer as part of a huge new tour set to be announced within weeks. According to a number of sources who have spoken to the MEN, the Etihad Stadium is gearing up to stage an epic 2027 homecoming return for Oasis following their record-breaking reunion tour of 2025.

Other dates are set to be announced, with rumours of a return to Knebworth, while bookies are already saying it's odds on for the band to play Glastonbury next year. A music industry insider told the MEN: 'It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy. They could even add more dates to that as well, there's talk of up to 20. The wider tour is also going to include a return to Knebworth.'
