Gallagher Family Feud Continues at Glastonbury with Awkward VIP Bar Encounter

The long-running feud between Oasis brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher appears to have extended to the next generation, with reports of a tense encounter at Glastonbury Festival. According to sources, Liam’s son Gene, 22, ignored Noel at a VIP bar even though the pair were just 20 yards apart.

An insider told The Sun: “Noel and Gene clocked each other but kept well apart. It was quite sad to see given they are so closely related but there is still a lot of bad blood between Noel and Liam.” The stand-off took place after Noel watched Irish band Kneecap in Shangri-La, partying until 3am on Sunday.

The awkwardness is not new. Last August, Noel had to make a quick exit from a restaurant with his daughter Anais when Gene’s brother, Lennon, arrived. Meanwhile, Liam recently dismissed rumours of an Oasis reunion tour, joking on X: “Nobody’s told me… maybe they’re getting a new singer like the dude out of Queen.”

Despite reports that Wembley Arena had been booked for three dates in July next year, the proposed reunion has reportedly collapsed. A source told The Mirror: “An Oasis reunion has been hoped for for years… it doesn’t get much closer than booking Wembley, and their teams were devastated when it all collapsed yet again.”
