Noah Kahan Urges Fans to Use Toilet After Poo Incident

Noah Kahan, the chart-topping popstar behind Stick Season, has issued an unusual plea to his fans: use the bathroom at his concerts. The 29-year-old singer responded after a viral video showed smeared faeces on the floor of a venue where he performed.

Artist's Statement on Social Media

Taking to X, Kahan wrote: "If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao I've pooped my pants as much as the next 29 year old but you guys gotta understand there's a venue worker out there with a 1000 yard stare after dealing with that." He highlighted the unfair burden placed on cleaning staff.

Extreme Fan Behaviour

The incident follows reports that some dedicated fans wear nappies to gigs to avoid missing any part of the show or to endure long queues outside venues. One fan replied to Kahan: "The fact that people wear diapers just to hold barricade is all the evidence I need that we should have seated pits." Another commented: "It's so embarrassing when the artist finds out about this sort of stuff happening at their shows."

Kahan's Light-Hearted Response

Kahan made light of the situation by sharing his own mishap: "I s*** myself onstage in Charlottesville but that's because I am dedicated to my craft." He balanced humour with a serious reminder about respect for venue workers.

Record-Breaking Tour

On Friday night, Kahan set an all-time attendance record at Citizens Bank Park with 45,341 fans. His tour will reach the UK in November, with sold-out shows at Glasgow's OVO Hydro, Manchester's AO Arena, and London's The O2 Arena. He expressed gratitude: "I am very blessed and lucky. We're at that special place where it still feels like family at these shows. And I still feel understood by you all. I don't want anything more than that."
