Comedian Nikki Glaser has opened up about her relationship dynamic, revealing she allows her boyfriend of 13 years, Chris Convy, to sleep with other women. In an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Glaser explained that while she does not engage with other partners herself, she is comfortable with her partner doing so.
“In a relationship, I don't really care if my boyfriend were to hook up. But that is not a two-way street,” Glaser said. “I'm not someone who likes to hook up when I'm in a relationship. I don't really care about that. But I don't care if someone else were to. In fact, I kind of like it.”
The 41-year-old has previously discussed her preferences on Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop Podcast, attributing her lack of jealousy to self-confidence. “I guess I’m just confident in like, I’m a pretty good person to date,” she said. “When it comes to my relationship, I just don’t have jealousy over him getting close to other women.”
According to fetish website Fetlife, the term 'hot husbanding' describes a man in a committed relationship who sleeps with various partners, often with his partner's encouragement or presence. It is the male equivalent of 'hotwifing', where the woman hooks up with others. Unlike cheating, this practice is consensual, with boundaries agreed in advance.
Reasons for engaging in hot husbanding include erotic empowerment, breaking taboos, and roleplay. Some couples report a deepened sense of trust and intimacy. A study by intimacy platform Wifey found that 71% of 1,000 surveyed couples felt a stronger emotional bond after inviting a third person into their relationship.
