Nicola Roberts has shared new photos with her baby daughter as the Girls Aloud star reflected on celebrating her 41st birthday, her first since becoming a mother.
Nicola, who rose to fame in the girl group alongside Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle and Sarah Harding, revealed on Christmas Day last year that she was five months pregnant. Towards the end of May this year, she announced the arrival of her first child with footballer Mitch Hahn, saying it is "heaven on earth" with her baby girl.
Birthday celebrations shared on Instagram
This week, Nicola was seen celebrating her first birthday since welcoming her baby girl. Taking to Instagram, she shared photos of the pair enjoying an autumn day outdoors, captioning the post: "41 [cake emoji]. Thankyou for my lovely birthday messages [kissing face emoji]."
Sharing about her special day, the singer added: "I had a very needed massage and lovely lunch with Mitch and I watched the baby live her best life walking under all the new 'Mr tree's' as we call them, mesmerised and smiling away. Perfect."

The birthday wishes came flooding in. Presenter Laura Whitmore said: "Happy birthday mama." Loose Women's Katie Piper shared: "Happy birthday fellow Libra." Daughter's birth announcement
When announcing her daughter's birth, Nicola shared a series of photos of the newborn in a celebratory post on Instagram, including one comparing their hands. "Beautiful baby girl is here," she said. "We haven't stopped staring at her perfect little face or kissing her softest little head." She added: "She arrived healthy and content a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks weighing 6.5lbs and is thriving. It's heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she's ours."
