Romeo and Cruz Beckham have unveiled new tattoos honouring their family, days after their brother Brooklyn reportedly covered up his own family tributes. Romeo, 23, shared an Instagram photo of a 'family' tattoo inked on the back of his neck, beneath an existing cross and wings design. Cruz, meanwhile, added a letter 'J' to his torso in tribute to his girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
The displays of family loyalty come amid a deepening rift with Brooklyn, who last month issued a bombshell statement accusing parents David and Victoria of controlling narratives and attempting to ruin his marriage to Nicola Peltz. Brooklyn, 25, has reportedly undergone laser treatment to remove a 'Dad' tattoo on his arm, covered up a chest tattoo dedicated to his mother, and inked over finger tattoos referencing his siblings.
A source told The Sun: 'Brooklyn’s had laser treatment on the writing. He wanted it gone. There is so much hurt and pain on his side, it would not be genuine to keep such a tribute on his body.' Brooklyn's remaining tattoos honouring his wife Nicola remain visible.
In his January 19 statement, Brooklyn said: 'For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.' He also alleged that Victoria humiliated him during his wedding by dancing inappropriately while taking Nicola's place in the traditional first dance.
