Nicola Peltz has sparked fresh speculation about the rift with the Beckham family by referring to her new sister-in-law Kenya Kinski-Jones as her 'dream sister' – a term she previously used for Brooklyn Beckham's 14-year-old sister Harper.
Wedding Celebration and 'Dream Sister' Comment
The 31-year-old American heiress shared an emotional Instagram post celebrating the marriage of her brother Will Peltz, 40, to model Kenya Kinski-Jones, 33. Kenya is the daughter of legendary record producer Quincy Jones and actress Nastassja Kinski.
'This wedding was truly one of the most beautiful things I've ever had the privilege of witnessing,' Nicola wrote. 'Willy, thank you for finally and officially giving me my dream sister, Ken.'
The phrase echoes a 2024 comment when Nicola called Harper her 'perfect dream little sister' after they attended the premiere of Nicola's directorial debut Lola together. At the time, Nicola said: 'If I could create the perfect dream little sister, it's her. I'm so blessed I get to have her as my little sister in my life.'
Fallout with the Beckhams
The relationship between Nicola and the Beckhams soured after Brooklyn, 27, publicly cut ties with his parents Victoria and David Beckham in 2024. The hot sauce entrepreneur did not acknowledge their Father's Day posts, which included pictures of him.
Recently, Harper attempted to visit Brooklyn in Los Angeles during Sir David's Walk of Fame ceremony but found him not home. A spokesperson for the Peltz-Beckham team told Metro the visit was 'choreographed for the cameras.'
Nicola has an older sister Brittany, 35, with whom she remains close.
Intimate Wedding Details
Will and Kenya exchanged vows privately at the Peltz family home in New York before a larger ceremony. Nicola's father, Nelson Peltz, served as best man and walked Kenya down the aisle, as her father Quincy Jones died in November 2023.
Kenya incorporated tributes to her late father: his tie was wrapped around her bridal bouquet, and a piece of his handwriting was embroidered into her wedding dress. 'Beginning the wedding weekend with the most meaningful part filled all of the unspoken moments between us throughout,' Kenya told Vogue.
'My father-in-law Nelson and my uncle Richard walked me down the aisle, and my mother-in-law Claudia sweetly walked with Will down the aisle,' she added.
Kenya's half-sister Rashida Jones, the actress known for Parks and Recreation, was part of the bridal party alongside their other siblings. Will said: 'It really was the perfect moment. Not only was I at the home where I grew up and that I'd made so many memories in, but I was with my people, my everything.'
Notably, Kenya's mother Nastassja Kinski was reportedly absent from the wedding and not mentioned in the Vogue interview, suggesting another family rift.
Metro has contacted Nicola's representatives for comment.
