Escape to the Country star Nicki Chapman shared a sun-soaked beach snap to Instagram this weekend, wearing an orange bikini as she sunbathed by the sea. The 59-year-old presenter stretched out on a yellow-and-white striped beach towel in a strapless bikini top, with a tan that made her shoulders glow.
She accessorised with gold bangles and matching hoop earrings, donned sunglasses, and let her blonde hair fall loose. Beaming for the camera, she captioned the post: “If you’re asking, mine’s a Piña Colada!” with cocktail and sunglasses emojis.
Fans praise the BBC star
Fans rushed to compliment Nicki’s snap. One wrote: “Looking fab-u-lous!” Another said: “Beautiful inside and out!” A third posted: “You are so beautiful Nicki!”
Health update after brain surgery
The beach image comes just days after Nicki shared a health update, explaining she now struggles to read after undergoing brain surgery. She had a four-and-a-half hour operation to remove a benign tumour the size of a golf ball in 2019.
Though the surgery was successful, she said it left her struggling to absorb and retain information as before. On Tom Price’s My Mate Bought a Toaster podcast, she said: “Sadly, I struggle with reading now. I can read, obviously, but my concentration is gone. I had a brain tumour, and I don't know whether it's age or anything, but my attention span has gone when I read. I can read, but I have to really concentrate.
“I have to learn my scripts, I just find everything takes a little bit longer. Learning my lines takes longer, retaining information takes a little bit longer.”
