Niall Horan and Amelia Woolley Step Out Together After TV Appearance
Former One Direction singer Niall Horan made a rare public appearance with his long-term girlfriend Amelia Woolley on Wednesday evening, following his guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The couple, who have been dating since 2020 but only went public in September 2021, were all smiles as they departed the television studios in Los Angeles.
A Happy Couple in Los Angeles
The 32-year-old musician wrapped his arm affectionately around his stunning girlfriend as they walked to a waiting car, both sporting dark sunglasses and appearing thoroughly content. Horan cut a cool figure in an oversized black shirt tucked into matching trousers, while Woolley, a fashion buyer and marketing professional, looked elegant in a grey wool blazer coat layered over a white tank top and jeans, complete with beige suede heels and a khaki suede handbag.
Earlier that same day, the couple had arrived at the TV studios together in a more low-key fashion. Horan wore a crisp white T-shirt tucked into blue denim jeans, accessorized with a baseball cap and sunglasses, while carrying a large blue bag. Woolley followed closely behind, beaming with support for her famous boyfriend.
Revealing Details About Their Relationship and Home
During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show, Horan opened up about how he first met Woolley and shared intriguing details about their shared home in London. "I met her at my house at a dinner party," Horan revealed. "We hadn't met before but we had mutual friends and you don't see those things as big deals but six years later you're like 'that worked.'"
The singer also disclosed that the couple has built an actual pub in the basement of his £10 million London mansion, though he humorously admitted it might have been a questionable decision. "We built a pub in the basement. I mean a pub not a bar, and it has to be the worse idea I have ever had," Horan said. "Pubs in London shut at 11pm, there is no 2am finishes and everyone goes, 'I wonder where we are going next...' So all of a sudden I have a house full of people."
He did mention having a strategic side entrance to discreetly usher guests out when necessary, demonstrating his practical approach to hosting.
Album Inspiration and Health Concerns
Horan recently announced his fourth studio album, Dinner Party, which he revealed is entirely about Woolley, describing her as his muse. In a separate interview on The Zach Sang Show, he admitted that Woolley "did a lot of crying" upon hearing the songs inspired by their relationship. He gushed about his contentment, saying, "Having someone to rant with and listen to and be listened to is huge. I'm glad I found it. And she's amazing and she's got her own thing going on. I love the life that we've got."
The couple reportedly enjoys a simple life together, though Horan confessed they are "big procrastinators" who often find their weekends disappearing without accomplishing much.
In a more serious revelation, Horan shared his ongoing health struggles, expressing fear that he may need a hip replacement. The Irish singer, who underwent reconstructive knee surgery in 2014, candidly stated, "My knees are f***ed. The hips are going now too. I think I was just genetically f***ed from the day I was born." He noted that his father, at age 66, has already had a knee replacement and hip surgery, suggesting a family predisposition to joint issues.
Recent Moves and Private Life
In recent months, Horan and Woolley have reportedly moved into a new £10 million six-bedroom family home in west London's star-studded neighborhood, close to celebrities like Holly Willoughby and Ant and Dec. The notoriously private couple, who share a dog together, have already settled into the property after leaving Horan's previous London penthouse, enjoying what sources describe as a "quiet life" in their new surroundings.
Rumors of their relationship began circulating in 2020, but they officially confirmed it when appearing together at Horan's Horan & Rose Gala in 2021. Since then, they have maintained a relatively low public profile, making Wednesday's joint appearance particularly notable for fans and observers alike.
