Newcastle Pride 2026: tickets, stage times, celebrations

Newcastle Pride returns this weekend, July 21-22, with celebrations across the city centre. The Pride Arena in Times Square will host performances, while the annual Pride march takes a new route and features a speech from Olympic legend Dame Kelly Holmes at Grey's Monument.

Tickets

Only the Pride Arena requires tickets. Free events include the Family & Youth Zone at the Theatre Royal (Sunday only), Saturday's Trans+ Zone at Northern Stage, the Tyger Stage and market village at Monument, and the Pride March. Full weekend tickets are £30.50 general admission or £44.50 for Platinum VIP. Day passes cost £26.50 for Saturday and £10 for Sunday.

Saturday Stage Times

Pride Arena: 12-4pm: Azula, Newcastle Mela, Northern Proud Voices, Drag Idol Newcastle 2026 winner Deena Hearts. 4-7.30pm: Ghetto Fabulous, Dollhaus, Queerdo, Nadine Coyle. 7.30-11pm: Urban Cookie Collective, Bimini, Katy B, Danny Beard.

Northern Stage Trans+ Zone: Performances and activities from 1-5pm.

Tyger Comms Stage: 12-5pm: Featuring Newcastle Mela, Northern Proud Voices, Azula Bandit, Newcastle College Performing Arts and Excellence Newcastle Ballroom. Hosted by Gloria Love and Carl Harrison.

Sunday Stage Times

Pride Arena: 12-4pm: Girls, Theys and Slays, Drag Castle, Camp Fit with Carl, Open Drag. 4-7.30pm: Good 4 Olivia (Olivia Rodrigo tribute), Rusty's Show Team, Chappell Roan by JC, Patti Boo Rae. 7.30-11pm: Fat Drag Slam, Harry Styles Show, Queenz, Candlelit Vigil.

The march leaves the Civic Centre at 12pm on Saturday. Dame Kelly Holmes will start the Pride 5k run on Friday.
