Netflix has released the French action series Elite Force on July 22, and fans are urged to cancel weekend plans to binge-watch it. The show follows the GIGN, France's elite tactical unit, as they combat terrorist threats and rescue hostages.
Plot and Cast
The series, created by Julien Leclercq of Ganglands fame, centers on David (Tomer Sisley), a high-ranking GIGN officer set to retire to a desk job. His plans are derailed when a terror attack kills several colleagues, forcing him to train a new recruit, Max, and uncover the mastermind behind the attack.

Since its release, Elite Force has dominated Netflix's top ten charts globally and holds the second spot in the UK. Critics and viewers have responded positively, with Decider recommending the show for its action scenes despite shallow character work. What's On Netflix gave it three stars, praising action and twists while criticizing characters.
On Rotten Tomatoes, audience reviews are glowing. Olly S called it 'excellent,' noting the cinematography.
