Netflix has announced it is adapting Harlan Coben's longest-running book series, Myron Bolitar, with a cast featuring Riverdale star KJ Apa. Production is underway in New York City.
Myron Bolitar Series
The series follows Myron Bolitar, a former college basketball star whose NBA career ended abruptly, now reinvented as a sports agent. He first appeared in 1995's Deal Breaker and has featured in 12 of Coben's novels, investigating blackmail, murder, and other crimes.
Cast and Creative Team
Colin Woodell (known for Pulse and The Continental) stars as Myron. The cast also includes KJ Apa, Diane Guerrero (Orange Is the New Black), Jabari Banks (Bel Air), Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live), Jamie McShane (Wednesday), and Ben McKenzie (Gotham). The series is written and produced by David E. Kelley (Emmy and Golden Globe winner for Big Little Lies, Presumed Innocent) and Kyle Long (Suits).
Harlan Coben's Netflix Partnership
Netflix previously adapted Coben's novels Fool Me Once (starring Michelle Keegan) and Run Away (starring James Nesbitt), both successes. Fool Me Once was watched by over 37.1 million accounts in its first week. Another adaptation, I Will Find You (starring Sam Worthington and Britt Lower), also aired recently.
