Strictly Come Dancing professional Neil Jones has married former Love Island star Chyna Mills in a ceremony at the Old Marylebone Town Hall in London on July 1. The couple were accompanied by their daughter Havana, who was born in October 2023.
Wedding Details and Announcement
The couple shared the news on Instagram with a series of black-and-white photos, captioned simply with the wedding date and a white heart emoji. Mills, 27, wore an elegant floor-length white gown with off-the-shoulder straps, while Havana donned a tiered floral dress.
Jones, 44, and Mills were first romantically linked in August 2022 and became engaged during a trip to Bali shortly after. They confirmed they were expecting their first child in April 2023.
Previous Marriage and Family Controversy
Jones was previously married to fellow Strictly professional Katya Jones. They were together for 11 years and married for six before separating in 2019. The couple received congratulations from many Strictly stars, including judge Motsi Mabuse, who wrote, “Congratulations guys, sending lots of love Mrs Jones,” and dancer Amy Dowden, who said, “Beautiful! Massive congratulations to you both xxxxxxx.”
However, The Sun reported that Jones’ family were banned from attending the wedding amid an ongoing racism row. It is claimed that Jones’ mother and sister were accused of “racism, bullying and disrespect” by Mills following Havana’s christening, with Jones standing by his partner throughout the ordeal.
Upcoming Strictly Series
Jones has recently been confirmed as one of the dancers for the new series of Strictly Come Dancing, which is due to start later this year. Celebrities confirmed for this year’s show include Dani Dyer, Lacey Turner, and Chris Appleton.
