Supermodel Natalia Vodianova Expects Sixth Child at 44
Natalia Vodianova Announces Sixth Pregnancy at Age 44

Supermodel Natalia Vodianova is expecting her sixth child at the age of 44. The Russian-born beauty made the announcement on Tuesday morning with the cover of Vogue France, where she proudly displayed her baby bump in a stylish minidress.

Family and Marriage

Vodianova is married to Antoine Arnault, 48, the CEO of Christian Dior and the eldest son of billionaire Bernard Arnault, who controls LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. LVMH owns approximately 75 luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Tiffany & Co., Sephora, and Moët & Chandon.

The couple announced their engagement in 2019 and wed in 2020 at a Paris city council. Vodianova previously married British property heir Justin Portman in November 2001, when she was eight months pregnant. They had three children together—two sons born in 2001 and 2007, and a daughter born in 2006—before separating in 2011 and divorcing later that year.

Vogue France Announcement

Vogue France expressed their excitement about breaking the news of Vodianova's pregnancy. In an Instagram caption accompanying the cover, they wrote: "Between two runway shows, at the start of the year, Natalia Vodianova confided in me that she was pregnant. Her sixth child, at 44. I knew immediately that she had to be our summer cover star."

Early Life and Career

Vodianova was born in a poor section of Gorky, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union (now Russia). She has recounted how her family struggled financially, forcing her to help her mother sell fruit on the street to support the household. The challenges were compounded by having a sibling with autism and cerebral palsy.

At age 16, her fortunes changed when she was discovered by a modeling scout. This led to a move to Paris, where she worked for Vogue and Vanity Fair, and secured campaigns with Gucci, Guerlain, and Stella McCartney. In February 2021, she was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
