Former Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha, 61, has been dubbed "sexy" after appearing in a bikini in a video filmed on a beach with her husband, Mark Adderley. The clip, posted online to promote an event held over the weekend, showed her striking several poses and drew widespread admiration from fans.
Fans praise the couple
Viewers described the pair as "couple goals" and praised Sawalha's appearance. One commented: "Beautiful couple you are. Nadia you look lovely in your bikini." Another wrote: "Absolutely love this. Keep keeping it real. Beautiful lady with a beautiful heart."
A third replied: "I just have one thing to say to Nadia. Hot." A fourth added: "This is brilliant, sexy and so hilarious," while another noted: "Wow Nadia, you have a fantastic figure."
Earlier recognition and Loose Women exit
This is not the first time Sawalha's confidence has drawn attention; she was previously hailed an "inspiration" for posing in her underwear. Earlier this year, she spoke about the "complicated" feelings she had after leaving Loose Women, a show she had appeared on since it launched in 1999.
Sawalha claimed producers had taken her on and off the line-up after she voiced pro-Palestinian beliefs, and she has not appeared on the panel since April. She also said she planned to sue the broadcaster over her alleged treatment and described feeling "shocked, sad, and angry" by her departure.
Libel damages and controversy
Opening up about her exit, she said: "So, how do I feel? It's very complicated. It's very, very complicated because there's so many people there that I love. I've always been very loyal to the show and even through these difficult few years, I've been distraught at not ever being able to say anything."
The controversy began in April when false claims were published alleging that Sawalha and her husband had shown "support for terrorism or hatred of Jews." She later received substantial libel damages. ITV were contacted for comment by The Mirror when they previously reported this story.
