A Newcastle man who became an internet sensation as 'Ibiza's Final Boss' is now set to turn his viral fame into a six-figure income. Jack Kay, 26, caught the public's attention with his distinctive bowl haircut, trimmed beard and oversized sunglasses while on holiday in Ibiza.
He has since signed with top talent agent Dave Read, who has managed Love Island stars such as Joey Essex. Brand expert Nick Ede said Kay could earn up to £250,000 a year if he 'plays his cards right', following in the footsteps of other overnight stars like 'Hawk Tuah' girl and 'Salt Bae'.
Kay has launched new TikTok and Instagram accounts, attracting brand partnerships. Greggs shared a meme of him as a gingerbread man, and Currys posted him as a Henry hoover. Ede said nightclub appearances in the UK could pay between £5,000 and £10,000 per show, with multiple appearances possible each night.
Ede added that trademarking his look could lead to merchandise and Halloween costumes, calling Kay 'instantly recognisable' and predicting that his fame could be sustained as long as he keeps his iconic style.
