Pop star Myles Smith has added an extra Liverpool date to his current tour after the first show sold out. The chart-topping singer-songwriter is set to release his highly anticipated debut album, My Mess, My Heart, My Life, on Friday, June 19.
Intimate Acoustic Shows
To mark the occasion, Smith is embarking on a series of intimate acoustic shows and Q&A sessions at record stores across the UK. As part of the tour, he will now perform two special sets at Liverpool's Jacaranda Baltic on Friday, June 12.
While one show has sold out, the other has few tickets remaining. These begin at £23 and go up to £40.
Personal Album
My Mess, My Heart, My Life is described as Smith's most personal and ambitious project to date. The album explores themes of vulnerability, emotional turmoil and self-discovery, taking listeners on a journey through three interconnected chapters — Mess, Heart and Life — as he reflects on the challenges and triumphs that have shaped him.
Rising Star
Over the past two years, Myles Smith has established himself as one of the UK's most exciting emerging artists, earning widespread acclaim for his heartfelt songwriting, distinctive vocals and ability to turn deeply personal experiences into universally relatable songs.
Liverpool Connection
The singer has previously performed in Liverpool, joining in on an ongoing joke at the time. Performing at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, the star made a cheeky Liverpool FC statement when he took to the Main Stage at Sefton Park.
The 26-year-old Luton-born singer-songwriter stepped out onto the stage wearing a pair of faded blue jeans, white trainers and a black t-shirt emblazoned with a funny message. His top featured the cheeky statement: "I swear I'm not Divock Origi".
The star decided to use his stage attire to dispel any confusion that may arise during his visit to the city - especially on such a huge weekend for Liverpool FC fans.
His outfit choice may also have been a humorous nod to his hairstyle, which bears some similarities to that of former Liverpool FC player, who departed the club at the end of the 2021/22 season. Myles has blonde tips on the ends of his hair, which is slightly different to Divock's style.
Addressing the crowd, Myles said: "Thank you for coming out Liverpool. We are here man. My name is Myles Smith, we've been on tour now for probably the last 18 months and every show we make two promises - we will put on the best show we can and I pray to God that you guys can help us and enjoy and have the best time you can."
