Myleene Klass has told a court she experienced “sheer terror” after an alleged stalker sent her an air pistol, handcuffs and a police uniform through the post. The TV and radio presenter, 47, was giving evidence at Birmingham Crown Court against Peter Windsor, who is accused of stalking her and fellow Classic FM presenter Katie Breathwick.
Windsor, 61, from Stechford, Birmingham, denies two counts of stalking causing serious alarm or distress. The court heard that he allegedly sent items to the radio station’s studios in central London between 2020 and 2024. Klass, shielded by a screen from the defendant, became upset when recounting how Royal Mail intercepted an air gun addressed to her last September.
She told prosecutor Timothy Sapwell that being shown a list of items and letters was “a huge shock, especially the extent to which it had escalated”. She said: “It’s a huge violation. It’s sheer terror really.” Klass added that a police constable informed her the air gun could prove fatal at close proximity up to 6ft.
The trial has heard that Windsor sent a note calling Klass a “naughty vixen” and wrote to Breathwick about wanting to go paddling in a lake with both women while drinking champagne. Breathwick earlier told the court of her horror at receiving a DIY will-writing kit and other “unhinged” mail.
