Janey Smith and Roger Hawes, stars of the ITV reality show My Mum, Your Dad, have confirmed their engagement. The couple met on the programme, hosted by Davina McCall, where adult children acted as matchmakers for their single parents.
Roger and Janey became fan favourites during the first season in 2023. Roger, a widower, was nominated by his daughter Jess, while Janey's son Will applied for his mother. They are the most recognisable couple from the show.

Three years after the series aired, Janey shared a selfie on Instagram with the caption: "Dreams do come true." She displayed her engagement ring, a gold band with a silver diamond. Roger's dog also featured, wearing a collar tag reading: "Will you marry my daddy."

Recent Health Scare
The engagement follows Janey's recent hospitalisation. She told followers: "They did a CT scan straight away and found my appendix had blown and needed surgery asap. I was in hospital for a week." Janey later confirmed she is "totally on the mend."
