Love Island's Montana Brown Regrets Cheek Fillers, Warns Against Cosmetic Procedures

Montana Brown, who rose to fame on the 2017 series of Love Island, has spoken out about her regret over getting cheek fillers. The reality star admitted she felt pressure to alter her appearance after the show and ended up having the procedure on a whim.

In an interview on Vicky Pattison's podcast The Secret To, Brown revealed she 'sobbed' after getting the fillers. 'I remember having this filler in my cheeks and I just remember I got home and I sobbed because I was like 'what have I done? I have ruined my face'. It's heartbreaking,' she said.

Brown explained that she had never considered cosmetic procedures before appearing on Love Island. However, after attending an event where someone discussed Botox and fillers, she Googled clinics and made an appointment the next day. She was only 20 at the time.

The 25-year-old also reflected on the broader impact of fame on her confidence. 'I never had a confidence problem until I went on Love Island. I started picking myself apart because people were like, 'she's got a lazy eye' ... and I started thinking I had a lazy eye and considered getting eye surgery,' she said.

Brown has since warned future Love Island contestants about the pressures of the industry. Speaking to Cosmopolitan magazine, she admitted she 'behaved like a bit of a brat' in her first year after the show and urged newcomers to understand that 'fame and money don't last forever.' She also advised against comparing oneself to others, saying she had to find her own passions beyond social media.
