Molly Ringwald has been told she has “barely aged” by fans after a new photo from New York City, more than four decades after her starring role in The Breakfast Club. The 58-year-old actress, also known for Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles, was most recently on screen in the American drama series Feud in 2024.

Broadway Stars Photo

Earlier this week, Ringwald posed alongside Broadway stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Darren Criss in New York City at a celebration of composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Lorenz Hart. Standing between the pair, she wore a full-length sleeveless black gown with a metallic belt and berry red lipstick, captioning the Instagram post: “Backstage with these two.”

Fan Reactions

The photo drew comments from her 1.2 million followers, many noting her youthful appearance. One fan recalled buying a Cocker Spaniel from her in 1984 in Oklahoma City, adding she “literally still look[s] the exact same after 40 years.” Another wrote, “So Molly doesn't age which is amazing,” while a third joked, “If you could start looking your age that would be great for the rest of us, thanks.” A fourth gushed about her hair colour and lipstick.

Beauty Secrets

Ringwald previously shared her beauty routine with Town & Country, saying she uses retinol “no matter what.” She explained that her sister, trained as an aesthetician, stressed its importance, but her sensitive skin took time to find a non-irritating formula. She also said she has been interested in cosmetics since a young age, recalling early experiments with blush and her mother’s comments about “pink splotches all over her face.”
