Molly-Mae Hague has faced backlash after complaining about torrential rain during her New Year family holiday in the Maldives with Tommy Fury and their daughter Bambi. The Love Island star, 24, shared a photo of herself eating at a restaurant in The Ritz-Carlton, captioning it: 'Me for the last week hiding from the torrential rain we travelled across the world for.'
While some followers sympathised, others criticised her for complaining despite the luxury setting. Instagram user Jojo May68 commented: 'Well some people can't afford food so the fact you're there is amazing.' Emma Orloski added: 'Wow would hate to be on vacay like shut up Molly please.' Christine Hunter wrote: 'I am fed up of seeing Molly on her holidays, why do we need to see this ALL the time, some people can't afford to feed their kids.'
The family extended their trip to Dubai, staying at Jumeirah Al Naseem, where they were welcomed with a balloon arch reading 'Welcome home.' Molly-Mae posted: 'Extended our trip. Never felt closer to my little girly.' The couple also shared a video montage set to One Direction's 'Night Changes,' showing Bambi's growth over the past year.
This is not Bambi's first international trip; the under-one-year-old has already visited Paris, Ibiza, Athens, Barbados, the Maldives, and Dubai twice. The family's Maldives holiday reportedly cost around £9,400, with water villa prices ranging from £2,400 to £4,300 per night.
