Molly-Mae Hague has seemingly ruled out having a third child as she candidly discussed her daughter Bambi's recent struggles in her latest YouTube vlog.
Post-partum update and contraception
In the vlog, the 27-year-old influencer shared that she had a six-week check-up with her obstetrician before Wimbledon, during which she decided to get a coil fitted. She explained: "The day before Wimbledon, I actually had my 6-week check-up with my obstetrician. And basically, we were speaking about contraception and I ended up randomly on that day getting the coil fitted. Like, that was just really random."
She went on to describe the type of coil: "So I had the coil fitted, I had one called the Kyleena. It’s not the copper coil. It’s a different one. It’s one that’s going to last 5 years."
Molly-Mae explained her reasoning: "I really wanted to get on some form of contraception because the last thing we need right now is another pregnancy. Like, it would be a blessing of course but it’s just not like… I think I'm done anyway with the children."
Bambi's separation anxiety
Molly-Mae also opened up about her daughter Bambi, who has developed "major separation anxiety" over the last few months. She suggested that while her baby brother's arrival may have contributed, she believes the turning point was when Tommy Fury went away for boxing camp.
She said: "I know a lot of you are going to straight away jump to being like, 'It's because she’s got a baby brother and there's so many things that have changed in the house'. Maybe it’s contributed slightly, I do actually think it’s not to do with Midas … because it was going on before he was here."
She added: "I actually think part of the reason was when Tommy went into camp for his last fight, and she's so, so addicted to her dad. She's so obsessed with him that him being away for camp quite a bit - I think that really was the turning point. I think she really, really struggled with that."
Nursery drop-offs become traumatic
Molly-Mae described how nursery drop-offs have become a "massive hurdle," with Bambi no longer enjoying them. She explained: "Nursery has become a massive, massive hurdle for us, that she’s really not enjoying anymore. In terms of when she’s actually there, she loves it but the drop off is so traumatic. This is so weird, me even saying this, because she’s always been amazing with nursery, apart from at the very, very start when kids are, same as every other child when they start, they're just getting used it."
She continued: "She used to cry at the door. But now we’ve gone right back to the start and it’s so, so traumatic when we drop her off, we have to literally prize her off of us and pass her over to the teacher."
