Molly-Mae Hague has debuted her latest makeover, having headed to the salon for the first time since welcoming her second child into the world. The influencer and her partner, Tommy Fury, welcomed their baby boy early last month (June), three years after the arrival of their first child, daughter Bambi.
Baby Midas Arrival and Family Updates
The former Love Island stars, who met and fell in love on the ITV2 dating show in 2019, announced their son's arrival on June 3 by sharing a joint Instagram post. The post featured a picture of the newly expanded family for the first time, but they did not confirm they had a boy until later, sharing the news alongside a sweet video of Bambi meeting her baby brother for the first time. It was later confirmed that his much-anticipated name is Midas, with Tommy sharing the news during his return to the boxing ring.
Since then, the couple have been sharing updates on their new family life as they settled into being parents to two young children. In her latest social media post, it seems Molly-Mae is keen to see the back of the hot weather, which keeps recurring in the UK this summer.
Summer Heatwave and Mum-of-Two Life
Alongside a picture of her baby boy with his tiny hand resting on his chin as she held him in her arms, she wrote in view of her millions of followers on her Instagram Story: 'Waiting for this heatwave to pass like...' She then shared a picture of one of her cats stretched out on the stairs and admitted: 'The summer we're having in the UK?! I'm so happy for all of you who love summer... You definitely won this year. I'll be so honest... I'm counting down the weeks until the leaves turn brown.'
But the 27-year-old did then add: 'Although I will say I think this has probably been my favourite summer EVER.'
Hair Transformation and Salon Visit
Molly-Mae also gave a look at her blonder, longer locks for the first time, having headed for the hairdressing salon. Shaking around her curled locks in front of the camera, she declared: 'So back. Finally,' after previously pointing out the regrowth on her dyed tresses.
Postpartum Challenges and Routine Building
It comes after Molly-Mae told fans she's a 'different person' as she updated them on her first few weeks as a new mum-of-two. In her latest YouTube vlog, she spoke directly to the camera, telling her viewers: 'Another thing for this video, a nice drinking game for you, take a shot every time I say the word 'um' because all I can say is my brain is absolutely not working properly, and I remember this from my postpartum journey with Bambi.'
She continued: 'For me, baby brain through pregnancy does not even compare to baby brain once you give birth, because when I'm tired, as you will be able to see in this video, when I'm tired I am a different person. I talk differently, I can't string a sentence together... I just keep saying 'um um um' because I can't get my words out quickly enough... It doesn't flow basically.'
'That is why I'm a woman that needs my sleep and that is why I'm already working as hard as I can to get my boy into a routine because I'm like, I need this little boy to be the same kind of sleeper that Bambi has been for us and that comes with work, patience, perseverance, and for us a really really solid routine.'
