Comedian and Masked Singer panellist Mo Gilligan has reportedly become a father to a secret child and is expecting another with his current partner, Taia Tulher. The 37-year-old star, known for his comedy sketches and role on ITV's guessing game show, has faced criticism from the mother of his first child, Selina Christoforou, who accused him of being a 'deadbeat dad'.
According to reports, Gilligan met Selina Christoforou online and she became pregnant in May 2023. A source said the pregnancy was a shock for both, as they had been careful, but Christoforou decided to keep the baby despite not being in a relationship with Gilligan. She later claimed the comedian has rarely visited his son and expressed frustration, saying 'you can't make someone be a dad'.
Gilligan, who grew up in Lambeth, South London, after his parents divorced when he was five, has spoken positively about having both parents involved in his upbringing. He once remarked that he felt lucky compared to many young black boys without a father figure. His rise to fame began with viral social media clips while working in retail, culminating in a career breakthrough when rapper Drake discovered him in 2017.
Before his current relationship, Gilligan was in a long-term relationship with Hollyoaks actress Sophie Wise. He lived with his mother until purchasing a five-bedroom house in North London, the first property buyer in his family. His net worth is estimated at £18 million, reflecting his success from customer service to television stardom.
