Millie Mackintosh Opens Up About Post-Baby Body Struggles and Planned Boob Job

Former Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, 31, has revealed her struggles with body confidence following the birth of her first child, Sienna, in May. In a candid Instagram post addressed to her own body, the reality star admitted she had once planned to undergo breast augmentation but later felt grateful for her breasts after they successfully breastfed her daughter for four months.

Writing a 'love letter' to her body, Mackintosh reflected on her changing relationship with her appearance. She confessed to having 'stuffed my bras with cotton wool' and 'always felt you were a bit small', but pregnancy and breastfeeding transformed her perspective. 'You fed my baby for the first four months of her life and for that I will always be grateful,' she wrote, though adding that her breasts now look 'a little sad and saggy'.

The mother-of-one also addressed her stomach, admitting she had 'abused' it in her younger years but now has a 'new found respect' for it after it carried her daughter. She acknowledged struggling with its 'softness and jiggle' post-pregnancy but emphasised feeling more connected to it. Mackintosh further opened up about her acne, which began in her early teens and recently returned as adult acne, and being bullied at school for her 'sparrow legs', which she now considers her favourite feature.

Mackintosh concluded her letter by reminding followers that 'our bodies are rooting for us all the time' and 'will always love us back'. The post comes days after she revealed she 'spiralled into anxiety' after giving birth, fearing postnatal depression. She is now focusing on self-acceptance and recovery.
