Love Island winner Millie Court has spoken out against online trolls after receiving abusive comments on a series of bikini pictures she posted on Instagram. The 24-year-old reality star was on a ski trip in Chamonix, France, when she posed in a silver metallic bikini in the snow.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Court shared some of the abuse with her followers, saying she was called a ‘pikey’ and accused of needing to ‘get her kit off to get famous’. She admitted the comments were ‘hurtful’ and that she does not have as ‘thick a skin’ as people might think.
Court explained that she took the photos by a heated pool and hot tub at her accommodation, saying: ‘I take bikini pics as I would in Thailand, so I thought I would take one in Chamonix.’ She added that she was not prepared for the negativity that came with her public profile.
The post comes after Court announced she would be moving in with fellow islander Chloe Burrows, following her split from Liam Reardon. The pair had bought a home together months before ending their relationship.
