Millie Bobby Brown marked her 21st birthday on 19 February, celebrating a milestone that comes just months after her secret marriage to Jake Bongiovi and the conclusion of filming on Stranger Things.
The actress, best known for playing Eleven in the Netflix series, married Bongiovi in the US in May 2024 before a second, lavish ceremony in the Tuscan countryside in October. The couple shared photos on Instagram with matching captions: Brown wrote 'Forever and always, your wife', while Bongiovi wrote 'Forever and always, your husband'.
Brown had previously said that she never intended to become a wife until she met Bongiovi. 'That was never my intention, to be a wife,' she told Glamour UK. 'But after meeting Jake ... he wants me to go and do my thing and live my life, and he will hold my hand in the process of that.'
December 2024 also marked the end of an era for Brown, as Netflix confirmed that filming had wrapped on the fifth and final series of Stranger Things. She shared a tearful Instagram video, saying: 'I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you, and I'll forever carry the memories and bonds we've created together as a family.'
While Brown has not yet revealed plans for her 21st birthday, her 20th was celebrated at Cathedrale Restaurant in New York, where she wore a strapless satin mini dress and was presented with a white-iced cake reading 'Twenty'.
