Can 15 Minutes of Exercise a Day Give You Michelle Keegan's Body in 12 Days?

A new fitness programme claims it can help you shed 7lb of fat in just 12 days with only 15 minutes of daily exercise. The Educogym method, favoured by celebrities like Robbie Williams, combines a high-fat, low-sugar diet with intense weight training and mental visualisation techniques.

Body coach Jagir Singh, who runs Educogym's Canary Wharf branch, explains that the programme is based on a university study where dieters who visualised their dream body lost twice as much fat as those who didn't. Participants are instructed to create a vivid mental image of their ideal physique, such as that of actress Michelle Keegan, and listen to a personalised recording after each workout.

The 12-day diet is high in fat and protein, including foods like eggs, bacon, avocado, smoked salmon and cheese, while strictly avoiding sugar. Singh says fat is the only macronutrient that doesn't trigger insulin release, which is linked to storing belly fat. However, the diet is only intended for the initial 12-day blitz and requires a full professional assessment beforehand.

The exercise component consists of short but brutal weight sessions, rotating between legs, arms and back/chest days. Each exercise uses heavy weights that allow only six repetitions per set, with three sets per exercise. A trainer pushes participants to their limits, correcting form and ensuring maximum effort.

The author, a busy mother of two, tried the programme and found it challenging but effective. She notes that while the 15-minute workouts are intense, they are manageable with professional guidance. The programme claims to strip fat and build lean muscle without the need for long cardio sessions.
