Michelle Keegan has shared a sweet photo of her daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright, months after her first birthday, as she returns to her home city of Manchester for her latest acting role. The Stockport-born actress posted the rare image on Instagram, showing only the back of her daughter's head with a hair clip, captioning it: "She's a hair icon."
Family Life and Privacy
Michelle and her husband Mark Wright, both 39, largely keep their daughter out of the spotlight. They welcomed Palma on March 12, 2025, announcing her birth nearly a week later and revealing her unique name. The couple had announced the pregnancy in a sweet Christmas 2024 post, featuring Michelle on a Spanish beach with a blossoming baby bump.
The photo shared with Michelle's 7.3 million Instagram followers marks a rare glimpse into their family life, focusing on Palma's hair progress rather than her face.
New Acting Role in Manchester
Away from family, Michelle has been filming in Manchester for a new Harlan Coben drama series on Netflix. At the end of last month, she was announced as one of the first cast members alongside Tom Bateman. The eight-episode limited series adapts Coben's 2007 novel.
The synopsis reads: "20 years ago, Paul Copeland's sister Camille vanished from a summer camp in the woods, a loss that tore his family apart. When a murder victim is revealed to have disappeared along with Paul's sister, Paul's hope rises... could his sister still be alive?"
Tom Bateman, known for Hedda, Funny Woman, and Murder on the Orient Express, takes the leading role of Paul. Michelle, famed for Coronation Street, Brassic, and Ten Pound Poms, joins as Lucy Silverfield.
