Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell, best known for playing Kevin Webster, has married his long-term partner Louise Gibbons in a low-key ceremony at Sale Town Hall in Manchester. The 61-year-old soap star and his fiancée of nine years exchanged vows surrounded by close friends and family.
Le Vell wore a beige suit and brown tie, while his bride looked stunning in a strapless white bodice with feathered sleeves and curled hair. After the ceremony, the couple exited hand in hand to a shower of duck egg blue confetti, sharing another kiss.
The couple began dating in 2014 after meeting through Louise's brother, who is Le Vell's local bookmaker. They announced their engagement in 2017 following a brief split early in their romance. Despite his fame, the pair have kept their relationship largely out of the public eye.
Among the guests were several of Le Vell's Coronation Street co-stars, including Sue Devaney (Debbie Webster), Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs), Sally Carman (Abi Franklin) with her real-life husband Joe Duttine (Tim Metcalfe), and his on-screen ex-wife Sally Dynevor. The reception was also attended by more cast members.
Le Vell was previously married to Janette Beverley, whom he met on the set of Coronation Street. They were together for 25 years before separating in 2011 and share two children.
