Hollywood star Michael Douglas is coming to Swansea for a one-night-only show at the Swansea Building Society Arena on Monday, October 26. The Oscar-winning actor and producer will give a full and uncensored account of his remarkable eight-decade career and personal life.
Behind-the-Scenes Stories
Douglas will reveal incredible behind-the-scenes stories featuring a Who's Who of Hollywood, many never revealed before and some outrageously funny. He will speak with unflinching honesty about his sometimes bad-boy life, including his turbulent first marriage, infidelity, affairs, struggles with alcohol and drugs, his son's addiction, and his battle with stage IV cancer.
Memoir and Special Guest
The show comes as Douglas prepares for the release of his highly-anticipated memoir, 'One Helluva Ride,' due in early October 2026. He will be joined by a special guest host for the event.
Local Connection
The 81-year-old star is no stranger to the area, having been married to Catherine Zeta-Jones since 2000. The couple have frequented the Mumbles area, where Zeta-Jones grew up, and their children Carys and Dylan spent summers with grandparents there. In 2019, the family attended Swansea's Guildhall to see Zeta-Jones receive the freedom of the city, and have been spotted dining at local restaurants and golfing at Langland Bay Golf Club.
