Meghan Markle is developing two new series for Netflix, according to reports. The Duchess of Sussex is working on projects that will focus on lifestyle and professional polo, respectively.
The first series will celebrate cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television’s Intellectual Property, with Leah Hariton as showrunner and Michael Steed as director. Meghan, Hariton, Archewell’s Chanel Pysnik, and IPC’s Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman serve as executive producers.
This series is believed to align with Meghan's lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, which soft-launched on Instagram last month. The brand will offer items such as dog shampoo, chicken feed, and yoga bolsters.
The second series will provide behind-the-scenes access to the world of professional polo, filmed at the US Open Polo Championship. It will feature Miloš Balać as showrunner, with Meghan, Prince Harry, Pysnik, Ian Samplin, and Boardwalk Pictures’ Andrew Fried, Sarina Roma, and Dane Lillegard as executive producers.
Meghan and Harry have previously produced three series for Netflix via Archewell: the docuseries Harry and Meghan, Heart of Invictus, and Live to Lead. Titles and release dates for the new projects have not yet been announced.
