The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have returned to the UK earlier this month for a private reunion, choosing to keep the visit low-key and avoid major public attention. The couple, along with their children Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, reportedly attended a Chanel event at Highgrove House without the usual media frenzy.
For Meghan, the trip marked a significant moment after years of living in the US, sparking discussion about whether reconnecting with Britain could benefit perceptions of her and her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
Emmy Nomination and Career Momentum
Shortly after the visit, Meghan received a reported boost when her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. She is also expected to appear on MasterChef Australia.
The insider told Closer: “Meghan feels she’s done her bit to help him. She went to England, kept out of sight, and abided by all the rules because she knew how important the trip was. But now that they’re back home, she’s saying it’s time to forget about the royals and put their energy back into the life they’re building in America, which really means focusing on her and her brand.”

Closer cited YouGov America polling showing that 37% of voters said they liked Meghan in 2025, compared with 29% at the start of this year.
