Meghan Markle faced criticism from two royal commentators after struggling to answer a simple question during her guest appearance on MasterChef Australia. The Duchess of Sussex appeared as a guest judge on the Australian cooking show for an immunity challenge ahead of the semi-final.
Question About Favorite Family Meal
Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli asked Meghan: “Can I ask you please, Meghan, what is your favourite dish to cook for the family?” Instead of naming a specific meal, she said it was a “tough question” because she has “a lot of palates to appease”.
She elaborated: “My husband, being from the UK, loves a lot of meat, potatoes, cream sauce. California girl, I like grilled fish, grilled meats, lots of citrus. I just like using really pure, natural herbs and spices, you know, again, if you can pull fresh 'erbs like, do you say 'erbs or herbs here?”
