Meghan Markle was brutally mocked by fans over her kitchen skills after a parody video went viral on social media. The Duchess of Sussex recently shared a life update on her social media platforms, giving followers a glimpse into how the Sussex family is “springing into summer.”
The Post That Sparked Mockery
On Tuesday, Meghan posted a series of pictures and videos featuring her husband, Prince Harry, and their two children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie. Among the content was a short clip of the Duchess preparing either a bolognese or handmade burgers. In the clip, Meghan was seen chopping onions, but her technique did not impress several fans.
Parody Video Goes Viral
Shortly after the post, a parody video mocking Meghan’s onion-cutting skills went viral on X (formerly Twitter). A user with the handle @MarshatheGeezer posted a video of herself staring at an onion and two cloves of garlic on a chopping board before “attacking” them with a knife, mimicking the Duchess’s technique.
In the video, she said: “Okay, I don’t do this very often, but I’m going to show you my insane kitchen skills today.” The video quickly amassed tens of thousands of views and hundreds of comments.
