Meghan Markle's appearance on MasterChef Australia attracted a record audience of 1.16 million viewers. However, TalkTV host Kevin O'Sullivan suggested that the Duke of Sussex's legal troubles could overshadow this success.
O'Sullivan and royal biographer Angela Levin discussed on Monday's Drivetime that Prince Harry lost a High Court privacy case alongside six others and may face a legal bill of up to £50m. O'Sullivan noted that Meghan is reportedly increasingly worried about finances.
Legal bill and financial concerns
O'Sullivan explained that the case cost around £50m, and a judge, Mr Justice Nicklin, will decide on costs. He said Harry will need to find a lot of money quickly, and Meghan is not at all pleased.
Angela Levin agreed, saying the Sussexes live more richly than imagined, referencing a home in Portugal. She speculated Harry may seek help from King Charles, though she hopes he doesn't.
Invictus Games visit and family meeting
Harry visited the UK in July to promote the Invictus Games in Birmingham. During the trip, King Charles met with Harry, Meghan, and their children, Archie and Lilibet.
