Meghan Markle has faced another public criticism as TalkTV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan and royal commentator Kinsey Schofield discussed her brand on Schofield's YouTube show, Unfiltered. The pair claimed the Duchess of Sussex 'hates' that she is 'nothing' without her husband, Prince Harry.
Brand Under Fire
Schofield opened the conversation by questioning whether Meghan's personal brand has strengthened since stepping back from royal duties six years ago, or if it remains reliant on her husband. She referenced the 'claw' on social media, describing how Meghan often holds onto Harry at public events like the Invictus Games.
O'Sullivan responded sharply, stating: "Without Harry she's nothing. I'm not sure what her brand is – it's certainly not making her much money, as I say. Her brand is… she's become this very famous person because people are intrigued by her."
Harsh Words
He continued: "She's a car crash. I'm not sure what her brand is, but know this: without Harry, she is nothing. She hates this. She still thinks she's the main attraction in the relationship, but of course she's not. She's just some Hollywood wannabe who married a prince. The prince is the main attraction. The prince is the story. So without Harry, Brand Meghan is nothing."
O'Sullivan added that Meghan likely knows this deep down but does not like it. Schofield then asked what advice he would give Meghan if she called him, to which O'Sullivan joked he would tell her to "go the hell away" and advised her to "do something solid. Just find something."
