Meghan Markle has suggested that the most challenging period of her life may be drawing to a close, in a cryptic social media post. The Duchess of Sussex, who recently returned from a private tour of Australia with Prince Harry, shared a horoscope-themed video on her Instagram story.
The post, originally from a page called 'Astrology is for Everyone,' claimed that Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius signs have just emerged from the 'hardest seven years of their lives' due to the movement of the planet Uranus. Meghan, a Leo who turns 45 on August 4, appeared to confirm her star sign in a subsequent slide.
The astrological reading described the past seven years as a period of exhaustion and confidence hits, but added that 'April 25th, the pressure lifts.' The post read: 'The tension between who you actually are and what the world around you was willing to see has been exhausting... Your confidence took hits it had no business taking.'
The last six years have been tumultuous for the former Suits star. In January 2020, Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals, citing a 'really difficult environment,' and moved to the US with their son Archie. They later welcomed daughter Lilibet in 2021. The couple's 2021 Oprah interview included allegations of racism and lack of support from the royal family.
More recently, Netflix cut ties with Meghan's lifestyle brand As Ever, just months after signing a multi-year deal with the couple. Prince Harry also spoke at a summit in Australia, saying he decided as a teenager that he didn't want the royal life that 'killed' his mother, Princess Diana.
