McDonald's Hot Honey McFlurry Divides Customers

McDonald's has announced a major change to its menu this week, introducing 11 new items including the Hot Honey McCrispy, Hot Honey Sausage & Egg McMuffin, and the Hot Honey Mini McFlurry. However, the ice cream offering has quickly divided customers, with many expressing confusion on social media.

Hot Honey McFlurry Sparks Debate

Only available through the McDonald's app, the Hot Honey Mini McFlurry is described by the chain as a 'dream come true for the experimenting personalities'. It comes with a pot of McDonald's sweet Hot Honey Dip, allowing customers to add as much or as little as they like to their ice cream. Yet the unusual combination has left some fans unimpressed.

On the popular Facebook page Newfoodsuk, customer Benny Singh wrote: 'Hot honey mcflurry? They've obviously ran out of ideas.' Another user, Céire Ann Cranmer, queried: 'Hot honey mini McFlurry? wtf.' Lorna Beth simply questioned: 'Hot honey ice cream???'

Cameron Clark added: 'Dont get what the hype is with hot honey,' while Mel J Lee asked: 'Why does everything have to be spicy?'

Fans Celebrate New Additions

Despite the backlash, some customers welcomed the hot honey range. Lauren Lowis wrote: 'Stop it rn!!! Hot honey everything!!' Joe Callaghan humorously commented: 'Who's anger reacting to all the Hot Honey stuff? Got a bee in your bonnet?'

In addition to the hot honey items, McDonald's has introduced the Strawberry Candyfloss Frappe and Ranch and Korean BBQ dips. For the first time in 17 years, the chain has also launched a Cornetto and McFlurry collaboration, with the Cornetto Classico and Cornetto Strawberry McFlurrys now available.

Excitement for Cornetto McFlurrys

Fans shared their excitement on the Facebook page BARGAIN LOVERS Poundland, Home Bargains, B&M, Primark, The Range & More. Craig Corbett wrote: 'Finally the Cornetto Mcflurrys are arriving!! They had these in Gran Canaria 18 Years ago they were the best things ever!!'

Paige Ward commented: 'Oooo the candy floss one looks nice!' while Toni Carr-Hardy added: 'That frappee looks good.'
