Maya Jama has proudly displayed her new Arabic tattoo, which translates to 'Love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching,' following her split from Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias. The Love Island host, 31, first revealed the inking in March, but it has taken on new significance after the couple parted ways just weeks ago.
The tattoo was on full show as Maya posed in a tiny blue bikini for the Agent Provocateur Swim 2026 campaign, with one image showing her on steps in high heels and another seated by a tennis court in a polka-dot bikini. The Bristolian presenter appears to be moving on, having filmed Celebrity Traitors and jetted to Majorca for Love Island filming.
Meanwhile, reports have emerged that Dias, 29, was 'toe-dipping' during the relationship, allegedly following models and influencers late at night and unfollowing them if they didn't reciprocate. Screenshots from March show him following and unfollowing model Catarina Duraes, with similar behaviour reported with a woman named Claire last November.
An insider told The Sun: 'It might just seem like a simple follow online but it's the intention behind it... it's seedy. It suggests he's sat browsing Instagram and what happens if they do follow back or DM?' There is no suggestion of cheating, but the source added: 'Ruben's single now so can do what he wants, but the toe dipping whilst he was with Maya will raise eyebrows.'
The former couple met at the MTV European Music Awards in late 2024 and dated for around 18 months. A source previously confirmed they had come to a 'crossroads', with both focusing on their careers: Maya's intense filming schedule and Ruben's World Cup preparations with Portugal.
