Maya Jama Shows Off New Tattoo After Ex Ruben Dias Claims

Maya Jama showcased her stunning physique while sipping champagne following reports that her former boyfriend, Ruben Dias, had been messaging other women during their relationship. The Love Island presenter, 31, donned a daring cut-out swimsuit that revealed a previously unseen tattoo, seemingly showing her ex what he is missing.

New Tattoo Revealed

While in Mallorca ahead of the upcoming Love Island series, Maya's leg tattoo was visible for the first time in photographs. The script, roughly translated from Arabic, reads: 'Love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching.' Although she is believed to have had the inking for some time, this marks its first public appearance.

After lounging at a villa, Maya changed into a striped strapless dress and sandals to leave the accommodation. She looked glamorous with bouncy curls and full makeup, ready to host the ITV reality dating show once again.

Personal Setback Amid Professional Success

While her career thrives, Maya has faced personal difficulties following allegations about Ruben's behaviour. The Manchester City footballer reportedly ended their 18-month relationship in April, shortly before Maya began filming the second series of Celebrity Traitors in Scotland. Ruben, who celebrated a domestic double with City under Pep Guardiola, has been accused of 'toe-dipping' on social media before the breakup.

This technique involves following someone online to gauge interest, then unfollowing if not reciprocated. Sources claim Ruben used this method in March with model and bridal designer Catarina Duraes, unfollowing her within 24 hours when she did not follow back. Similar actions were reported with a Scottish woman named Claire in November 2025, though no infidelity has been suggested.

A source told The Sun: 'It might just seem like a simple follow online but it’s the intention behind it, following someone to see if they follow back and interact, and always doing it late at night – it’s seedy.' Since the split, Ruben reportedly briefly followed Australian Love Island star Amelia Marni, who lives in London and has a boyfriend.
