Matt Willis has shared a gushing tribute to his wife Emma as she celebrated her 50th birthday, admitting he 'still can't believe' she is his wife after 20 years together. The Busted star and TV presenter posted a series of photos on Instagram, including one of Emma with a birthday treat, alongside a heartfelt message.
Writing on social media, Matt said: 'Happy birthday to my unbelievable, powerful, beautiful, bad ass wife. I love you more now than ever. We have been together for 20 years now! What a ride. I am literally who I am today because you love me. And I love everything about it. You are actually the coolest person in the world. Still can’t believe you’re my wife.'
Emma, who married Matt in July 2008 after meeting in 2004, quickly responded: 'Always and forever baby' followed by a red heart emoji. The couple's celebrity friends also sent their best wishes, with author Giovanna Fletcher calling Emma 'the coolest person EVER!!!' and Strictly Come Dancing star Carlos Gu adding: 'Happy birthday Emma!!!! A stunning woman.'
The tribute comes after Emma's close friend Rylan Clark jokingly warned her not to tell Matt about their TV 'marriage'. On her 49th birthday, Rylan shared a photo from their Celebrity Big Brother days and wrote: 'Happy birthday to the TV wife. Wouldn't want to be married to anyone else. Don't tell Matt.'
