Comedian Matt Rife and TikTok ghost hunter Elton Castee have purchased the Connecticut home of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, along with the Warren Occult Museum and its infamous collection, including the supposedly possessed Annabelle doll.

Rife announced the acquisition on Instagram, stating he and Castee are now legal guardians of the haunted artefacts for at least five years. He expressed his longtime fascination with the paranormal and described the Warrens as pivotal figures in popularising demonology and paranormal investigation.

The home in Monroe, Connecticut, was previously under the care of Dan Rivera, who died last month. Ed Warren died in 2006, and Lorraine in 2019. Rife and Castee plan to open the property for overnight stays and museum tours.

The Warrens' investigations inspired Warner Bros.' The Conjuring franchise, which includes multiple sequels and spin-offs centred on the Annabelle doll. The latest film, The Conjuring: Last Rites, is set for release in September.
