Matt Goss, the 56-year-old Bros singer, has announced his engagement to jewellery designer Chantal Brown. The couple, who have been together for four years, revealed the news in a recent interview, with Goss stating, 'We haven't officially put it out there yet, but we're engaged and looking forward to getting married.'
Chantal, previously married to EastEnders star Paul Nicholls, credited 'true love' as the secret to their relationship. The wedding is set to take place in London, where Goss moved back from Las Vegas to be closer to his fiancée.
Goss had earlier gushed about Brown, calling her 'kind and funny' and admitting he wanted to marry her. The couple's engagement marks a new chapter for the singer, who left his life in Las Vegas to build a home in England.
In the same interview, Goss addressed his ongoing estrangement from his twin brother, Luke Goss. He expressed hope that they could 'put their differences aside' in the coming year, adding, 'Nobody knows me better than him, and I believe nobody knows him better than me, so I hope we find a way to make amends.'
Goss had previously reflected on the breakdown of relationships, stating, 'You turn yourself inside out to try to find solutions. But if I can look in the mirror and say I've done everything I could, that's enough.'
