Mark Wright's father has praised his son's transition into fatherhood, describing it as natural, while Michelle Keegan shared a rare public message about her husband and their daughter on Father's Day. Mark and Michelle, both 39, welcomed their daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright in March 2025, celebrating a year of parenthood.
The couple announced their pregnancy in a Christmas 2024 social media post, featuring Michelle on a Spanish beach. Palma was born on March 12, 2025, with the name revealed nearly a week later. The pair largely keep their daughter out of the spotlight.
Father's Day Messages
On Father's Day, Michelle posted a photo of Mark and Palma on a cruise, facing away from the camera, on her Instagram Story. She captioned it: 'Happy Father's Day to the best daddy our little girl is so lucky.' Mark reshared the post, writing: 'You're both my world.'
Mark Wright Snr, known as Big Mark, spoke to his son during a spa trip for Father's Day. Mark said: 'I'm over a year into fatherhood now.' His dad replied: 'And you took to it like a duck to water. I can't believe it! Well, I can actually because I was very similar. But the first one is always your hardest, that's what they say. But you've done really well.'
Learning from Family
Mark credited his parents for his parenting style: 'We've been very lucky me, my brother, and my sisters to have a dad like you and mum so we can learn from it. I feel like a lot of my fathering comes from how you fathered us.' His dad responded: 'You will bring her up how you were brought up, and I can see that in the first year or so.' Mark added: 'I can feel it already as well just little things I will do or say or think.'
