Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright's long-distance relationship is set to continue, as the actress prepares to return to the UK for filming commitments while Mark remains in Essex. The couple, who recently enjoyed a reunion in Sydney, will soon be separated again due to work demands.
Keegan, 35, is currently in Australia filming the BBC drama Ten Pound Poms Down Under. Upon her return to the UK, she will immediately begin shooting the new series of Sky's Brassic, which is filmed in the North. Meanwhile, Wright will stay in Essex as work on their dream mansion nears completion after over a year of construction.
A TV insider told The Sun that the couple have 'made it work so many times before' and are not worried about the upcoming separation. The source added that Keegan plans to travel south on her days off to spend time with Wright. 'Michelle is going pretty much straight into filming a new Brassic when she gets back,' the insider said. 'She is a hugely in demand actress, so she's ended up having to work on two massive shows back to back.'
The couple, who married in 2015, are no strangers to long-distance due to their respective careers. Wright has previously expressed pride in his wife's success, stating, 'I'm extremely proud. I feel very lucky.' The pair have been renovating their Georgian-inspired home in Essex, which they hope to move into before the end of the year.
