Tom Jnr's Relationship Split and New Love
In 2020, Tom Malone Jnr began a relationship with model Bryony Briscoe, and the couple moved in together in Leeds. However, they separated in 2023. Bryony announced on Instagram that she was "in a committed relationship with herself," while Tom posted, "Leaving any baggage in 2022." By 2024, Tom had found new love with Jahmiah Simpson, whom he celebrated in 2025 for graduating with a first-class degree while also modelling for JD and dancing at Wireless festival.
Shaun's Brain Condition and Survival Against the Odds
Shaun Malone has been open about his health battles. In 2010, he developed sinusitis that led to a life-threatening brain infection. He was given less than a 10% chance of survival and spent weeks in a coma. Upon waking, he suffered brain damage affecting his memory and left side, essentially experiencing a stroke. In June 2025, Shaun underwent further brain surgery, posting on Instagram: "Heatwave is a terrible time to be stuck in hospital until Friday... Brain surgery is deffo not the highlight of my year."
Heartbreak Over Lost Pets
The Malone family, known for their Rottweilers on the show, have lost four dogs since 2018. In October 2025, they posted a tribute to Bobby, Dave, Izzy, and Lucy. Son Shaun confirmed the death of Bob in June 2025, calling him "a big cuddly bear." The family's boxer Frank died in 2018, Lucy in 2022, and Dave in 2023.
