Married at First Sight UK star Leisha Lightbody has spoken out about her split from Reiss Boyce, admitting she still has 'unanswered questions' about their relationship. The couple, who met as strangers on their wedding day, chose to continue their marriage after final vows but broke up weeks later when Reiss visited Leisha in Scotland.
Leisha, 31, said she felt 'naive' watching the show back, realising Reiss did not like her as much as she thought. She claimed that despite being intimate every night and cooking for him, Reiss gave mixed messages, calling her 'too much' when she asked for reassurance. 'I think looking back he probably just wasn't emotionally available,' she said.
The Scottish beauty also revealed that Reiss's ex-girlfriend liked her social media posts before the show aired, raising suspicions. After Reiss visited Leisha's family in Scotland to meet her parents, he ended the relationship that same night. Leisha wished he had been clearer earlier, saying she was 'vulnerable' and 'naive'.
Leisha and Reiss were one of five couples to make it to final vows, but their relationship showed cracks early on. Despite staying together throughout the experiment, Leisha struggled to understand Reiss's true feelings. She said she was 'a very open book' but could not 'figure him out'.
