Lucinda Light, the 44-year-old star of Married At First Sight Australia, has revealed she is single and open to finding love, potentially with a British partner. The TV personality, who shot to fame on season 11 of the show in 2024, shared her dating plans in an interview with Heart.
Light, who is also an author, wedding celebrant, holistic counsellor and motivational speaker, admitted she is prioritising romance in 2025. 'I'm absolutely carving out time next year to date, because I am looking for my husband,' she said. 'It gets a bit lonely on the road, it would be great to have somebody to sort of bounce off and go back to, into the arms of.'
When asked about her ideal partner, Light hinted at a preference for a European or UK man. 'I'm a little bit disenfranchised by what's going on Down Under,' she explained. 'The last person I dated was a woman. So yeah, I think I would be definitely open to meet a European/UK/Irish fella.'
Light also addressed her current relationship with her on-screen husband Timothy, revealing they are no longer friends. 'Sadly, we're not friends anymore. Not by my choice. Tim sort of opted out of that friendship,' she said. 'I'm still holding a lantern of hope for the friendship.'
Meanwhile, Light is co-presenting The Honesty Box alongside Vicky Pattison, a new reality dating series where contestants must be truthful or risk losing a £100,000 prize fund. 'We've had so many laughs creating the first season,' she said. 'The basic concept is we're in a land of true-topia and really supporting people to be their most authentic and truer selves in love.'
